They are on a 0-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:
Story Accuracy to the Movie 6.5
(Most of the game does base around the film and even shows actual cutscene moments from it to even more connect properly to it. But too much deviates greatly from the actual story and for no real good reason to be doing so. The fight between Leonard and Raphael is not even referenced in the game and Leonardo’s capture situation is totally changed. Not to mention other things done that had nothing to do with the story. But most of it is here so at least it does portray the film well enough to get the job done.)
Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movies 2.0
(None of the music matches to the film. And the music in the film is actually quite catchy and fun for the type of film it was made for. But doesn’t match the iconic songs that the previous films had that used bigger name stars for the main songs that were found within and on the soundtrack. The game does try to be in the same style and had good music for generic music. But also some dud songs like a weird one during the Cowabunga Carl moment. Either way it wasn’t accurate to the film but still good enough.)
Game Difficulty 3.5
(Play control, Play Control, Play Control. That alone makes the difficulty in this game skyrocket. There is a steep learning curve to the controls of this game and you can work with them and get used to them. But you shouldn’t have to. A game that is trying to mimic a Prince of Persia game should have easier controls being this is a kids based game for a younger crowd into Turtles based games and the film. The controls needed work and big time. They just were not responsive and the poor camera perspectives didn’t help either. At least you had unlimited lives and restarts but that made the whole situation pointless even more so. )
Overall Fun 4.0
(When fighting in a Turtles game is one of the least fun factors of it, the game is already in trouble. And that is definitely the case here. Push the attack button over and over again and watch the moves as they are generated over and over again as the same voice overs continue to be said. The exploration moments are just down right frustrating and don’t add much excitement to the situation. You never really feel like you are reliving the film. You just feel like you are doing obstacle courses with Turtle characters and pointless fights are thrown in every now and then.)
